History
J2K is a Hutchison Telecommunication’s Exclusive 3 Dealer currently in the state of Victoria, Western Australia and Queensland. The company started in 2000 as a humble Orange dealer in Caulfield, Victoria. Hutchison Telecommunication launched their 3 network in April 2003 and J2K was made as their 3 Dealer too. J2K begins to grow since then thanks to the support of many loyal customers.
On 1 February 2006, Hutchison announced their plan to merge their 3 and Orange services under a single brand 3. Orange was then renamed as 3 CDMA. Hutchison begins to proactively upgrade their customers to their 3G network. Towards the end of 2006, Hutchison decided to close its 3 CDMA network and J2K is now a 3 Exclusive Dealer only.
In July 2006, J2K decided to re-brand our stores in the student market J Frenz. This allows us to better cater to the needs of student as we have a team who is specialized in the student market.
In 2008, J2K made another decision to re-launch our image to better serve our customers and the community. This includes a change in our logo, our vision, mission and core values statement, a new website and many more, so stay in tune
